Progress on creating digital stories

We have been networking with student volunteers and community partners with a view to working with them to capture their memories of the 2007 and/or 1947 floods as audio for digital stories.  Partners to date include the Priors Park Neighbourhood project (Tewkesbury) and their 50+ group with the great name of ‘The Optimists’, Tewkesbury High School, and Gloucester Folk Museum.  In addition we have been recording with members of the public in community settings in Tewkesbury, Gloucester and Elmore.  Recording is on-going.  We are creating digital stories under two models and with different modes of community participation.  Next week on Monday, we are recording people’s memories of the 1947 floods – at the village hall in Elmore.
